At the Krav Maga women’s 2 day seminar you will learn to embody more strength and power, and move through the world with peace of mind that you can defend yourself against harassment and violent attacks. Women are faced with a variety of personal safety problems that most men are not. Krav Maga is good for everybody, but we feel it’s important to create a safe space for women to learn with other women. With our team of instructors, (no matter your size, age, or fitness level) you can learn the skills you need to defend yourself against common threats to women.
Use your minds, voices, and bodies to discover the tools within to handle situations from the uncomfortable to the unallowable.
In the women’s 2 day seminar you will learn practical, simple and effective skills to defend common threats, deliver powerful counterattacks and make quick escapes. While every seminar is unique to each group, here are some of the common scenarios you will learn to defend in our seminars:
- Hair and wrist grabs/pulls
- Bear hugs and chokes
- Verbal harassment
- Various rape attacks
- Situational awareness on the street.
Learn how to use your body as a weapon – throw punches, elbow strikes, knee strikes, and kicks! Our goal is that you feel prepared, empowered, and ready to defend yourself. The more prepared you are, the less you are a target for attackers. At Krav Maga we train in these powerful techniques “so you may walk in peace”.
This seminar is open to all who identify as female.
To continue your journey in self defense and fitness, we offer 14 Krav Maga Level 1 classes every week, where you can reinforce all the great confidence building and physical skills you learned in the seminar, and much more. Fitness classes include TRX, Conditioning, and Yoga.
