Knowing women’s self-defense is a way to find more strength and power in your daily life, and to move through the world with more peace of mind. Women are faced with a variety of personal safety problems that most men are not. Krav Maga is good for everybody, but sometimes we need to create a space where women students can work on problems with each other. With our instructors, you will build awareness, confidence and real life self defense skills for on the street and in your life.
Use your mind, voice, and body to handle situations from the uncomfortable to the unallowable.
We’ll teach you practical, simple and effective skills to negate common threats, use powerful counterattacks and make quick escapes. You’ll learn to defend these types of common scenarios:
- hair grabs
- wrist grabs
- being grabbed or choked
- being pushed against a wall or to the ground
You’ll also learn how to use your body as a weapon; to throw punches, elbow strikes, knee strikes, and kicks. Our goal is to help you always feel prepared and alert, and ready to defend if all else fails. With women’s self-defense the more prepared you are, the less likely it is that you will have to use these techniques.
