Kick Ass Kids summer camp!

Welcome to the Krav Maga and The San Francisco Academy for Kick Ass kids summer camp!

This one week camp will promote self-confidence in your child, offering unique skills for your child to learn.

Your child will learn a basic blend of Krav Maga skills, music, dance, storytelling through a play and learning the power of their own voice. Every day will include physical activity, theater, music, dance and art. The camp will conclude with a short program at the end of the week highlighting what your child learned.

This empowering camp for kids is something you don’t want to miss!

Extended Hours Available

We offer early morning drop off at 8:00 am for an additional $75 and late pickup at 5:00 pm for $100. Both early drop off and late pickup for $150.

Ages 6 to 12

About the teachers

Gina Baretta

Gina is an actress, singer, wife and mother.  She loves her life, her family and the idea of working with kids. She has taught children how to play guitar, adults how to paint and performs at the occasional children’s birthday party. She’s also written and produced music for her own videos.

Jennifer Naselaris

Jennifer was born and raised in San Francisco. She graduated with a degree in Early Childhood Education and is married with three children. She started her own children’s play group and during the years before teaching at nursery schools, became a lay midwife for three years and a labor coach.

Jennifer studied children’s literature, and became a buyer, manager and story teller for several independent book stores and schools. Above all her favorite work is telling stories to groups of children and watching them fall in love with books.

Chinese Boxing and Krav Maga Black Belt, Krav Maga San Francisco Head Instructor & Founder since 1999. Learning a system that works for everyone all the time, no matter how small the defender is and how big the attacker is, made me want to teach everyone.

Christina Haviland

Christina is a mother of two who has spent many fun and rewarding years producing and directing plays for high schools and local theater companies. She’s now in the Bay Area ready to continue her passion for introducing the arts to children.

Arielle Dengrove

Arielle has been training and competing in martial arts for over 10 years. She began her training in Krav Maga and later moved onto Muy Thai and Brazilian Jiu-jitsu. She has won many local BJJ tournaments as well as the UGF California state grappling championships in 2011, 2012, and 2013. She was also a gold medalist at Gracie Worlds 2013 and IBJJF NOGI Pan ams 2015.

Besides competing Arielle has taught kids self defense and BJJ for over 7 years. During that time she also organized and led many children’s martial arts summer and holiday camps. She loves working with children and also holds a masters degree in social work, where her concentration was child welfare.
