We have worked with Home Away from Homelessness for over 15 years and know what a difference they make in the lives of homeless and low income kids…
Homelessness has a direct impact on the education of homeless children. Studies have shown that children without stable housing are twice as likely to repeat a grade and up to 45% more likely to not attend school on a regular basis. An estimated 2,200+ students currently enrolled in the San Francisco public schools are classified as homeless.
Please help, Krav Maga San Francisco, help a local non-profit to replace all of the computers they have at the School House. We have worked with Home Away from Homelessness for over 15 years and know what a difference they make in the lives of homeless and low income kids to break the cycle of poverty with education.
