Schedule

Krav Maga is our core training program but we also encourage you to try out all our other classes. Maybe take Level 1 followed by TRX. You’ll feel a fantastic ache the next day. That means your body is strengthening. What better way to end a work week than punching a bag in KO class on a Friday!

  • Skills and Drills/Sparring with Scott Howard Scott Howard Krav Maga Blue Belt Krav Maga Instructor When the Bourne Identity movie came out in 2002, it was the first time I heard about Krav Maga. Even though that movie is not really an accurate representation of Krav Maga, it was the first movie where the fights felt real both in practicality and brutality. My first martial art was saber fencing, which I started training and competing at when I was 16 years old. I went to college on a fencing scholarship, won three NCAA team championships and trained for the '96 Olympics. I then trained in Muay Thai kickboxing, western boxing, BJJ and Krav Maga, which I have now been doing for about 9 years. Becoming an instructor was about learning to be better at Krav Maga. I have always believed in the adage "If you truly want to know something deeply, then teach it." I am helping people learn a skill and mindset that, if ever used out of necessity, could have a profound and positive impact on their lives. 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm

Previously I’d trained in boxing yet learned most of what I know from simple street fighting. Training at Krav Maga for 5 years, I then became an instructor to help others achieve what I’ve learned and gain total confidence.

How could I not say yes! Here I am 10 years later- still shouting, hitting, running and lifting all the stress away! Fitness should be a part of everyones life, as is humor and the ability to not take yourself too seriously. Come join me, we’ll laugh, we’ll sweat and you’ll look better naked because of me! Wade Pitts Krav Maga Green Belt Krav Maga Instructor While I had been actively looking at a martial art to get involved in, I first heard of Krav Maga from the Discovery Channel series ‘Human Weapon.’  More than any of the martial arts they covered, they described Krav Maga as intense!  Riding the MUNI 1BX down Bush Street, I passed by the Krav Maga studio daily and finally gave it a try. I was hooked. As an active triathlete, Krav Maga resonated with me, combining a great work out and education.  I’ve been training for 8 years and recently passed the Level 3 Instructor Series Phase C.

I became an instructor to give back to the KMSF community. Since Krav has been such a huge part of my life the past near decade, with so many positive influences, I wanted to share these with others. Since becoming an instructor, I personally thrive from watching students grow, finding inner strength and power. I guide them in instilling their inner confidence to protect themselves. Jayson Morris Krav Maga Blue Belt Krav Maga Instructor I was introduced to Krav Maga in 2008 by another student who raved  about the 'Circle of Death' in Conditioning - I was instantly hooked. I love the sheer pragmatism of Krav Maga: whatever it takes to get home safe.  I'm currently a Blue Belt, preparing for the upcoming  Brown Best test. Krav have given me a larger sense of confidence and  awareness that Krav Maga founder (Imi Lichtenfield) refers to in the Krav Maga mission: so that one may walk  in peace. I joined the instructor program to formalize my commitment  to helping others and invest more in this great community of people. 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm

Christian Ventrano - Krav Maga Black Belt

Christian Ventrano Krav Maga Black Belt KM Instructor Since 2005 MA Experience: – JKD – Kali & Ninjitsu I started training in Krav Maga as a student in 2003 and started teaching as an Instructor in 2005. I received my Black Belt in 2009. My addition formal martial arts training includes but is not limited to: Jeet Kune Do, Kali, Choy Lay Fut Kung Fu, Shorin Ryu Karate, and Ninjitsu. I’ve studied these for various lengths of times of at least 2 years each with various levels of achievement. I became an Instructor because I really love the training philosophy and approach. It is also one of the toughest trainings to become an Instructor and I wanted that type of challenge. As an Instructor I want to give back to the students and challenge them to be better at Krav Maga, knowing they can handle themselves in a fight, be able to protect those around, and make the right decisions to get home alive.
