Krav Maga Level 2
Build on the basics, learn defenses against more scenarios, more strong counters.
In this Krav Maga Level 2, students continue to review and hone the skills learned in Level 1, as well as learn additional punches and kicks, punch defenses with counterattacks, kick defenses, and defenses against various chokes, headlocks, and bearhugs.
Training includes stress and exhaustion drills to give students a more realistic approach to their training.
Students who train an average of two to three times per week should expect to complete the curriculum for this level in four to six months before testing into KM Level 3.
Wear comfortable exercise clothes you can move in easily, and training shoes that you can kick with. Shirts with some kind of sleeve is recommended due to contact with your training partners.
Classes will often require shin guards, boxing gloves, a mouthpiece, groin protection due to the techniques taught.
Make sure you are hydrated and have eaten enough to work hard for about an hour. All classes include some time for warm up and stretching for safety and injury prevention. See you there!
